The second China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Supply Chain Expo") was recently concluded in Beijing. The Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Commerce and Trade Promotion planned ahead and meticulously prepared, organizing leading and key enterprises from Hangzhou such as Alibaba, Cainiao, Geely, Wahaha, Chint, Hangyang, and BrainCo to participate in the exhibition. They showcased their supply chains, ecosystems, and scenarios at the Supply Chain Expo, fully demonstrating the proactive stance of Hangzhou enterprises in participating in and integrating into the global industrial and supply chains, turning the supply chain into a "win-win link" for international cooperation.
Hangzhou's参展企业, as the main enterprises of the ecological chain, hold a market share of over 50% in many domestic segmented fields. The seven Hangzhou enterprises participating in this exhibition are distributed in the "Six Chains and One Exhibition Area", focusing on the cultivation and release of new quality productive forces. They highlight cutting-edge fields such as digital technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, new energy, intelligent electricity, and intelligent manufacturing, as well as advanced achievements in hydrogen liquefaction experimental devices, electronic special gases, and energy technology, showcasing the important position and role of Hangzhou enterprises in the construction of the supply chain system. Among them, Hangyang Group, a world-class supplier of air separation equipment and cryogenic petrochemical equipment, comprehensively and multi-angle displays the industrial gas industry chain from front-end research and development, key component manufacturing, intelligent assembly integration to back-end product application, and scenario development. BrainCo, one of the representatives of China's innovative forces, has applied for more than 550 patents in the field of brain-computer interfaces, with more than 360 authorized patents, leading the world's brain-computer interface enterprises. It fully utilizes the Supply Chain Expo platform to showcase the world's leading non-invasive brain-computer interface technology.
"Linking Hangzhou, Linking the World"
The Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Commerce and Trade Promotion seized the opportunity and used the Supply Chain Expo platform to hold a "Linking Hangzhou" special event, focusing on the exhibition and promotion of Hangzhou's industrial development, investment environment, and policy advantages. It built a high-level exchange and negotiation platform for all parties to deepen cooperation and seek common development. Sun Xiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary-General of China International Chamber of Commerce, Ge Xuebing, member of the Party Group and Vice President of Zhejiang Provincial Commission for Commerce and Trade Promotion, Xu Weihua, Deputy Mayor of Hangzhou, Zhang Hongbin, President of Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Commerce and Trade Promotion, and other leaders attended the event. More than 50 responsible persons from central financial offices, the People's Bank of China, China Mobile Communications Federation, China Internet Finance Association, and other units, as well as China Unicom, Alibaba, Chengzhi Shares, Beijing LianDong, Hangyang Group, Siemens, AstraZeneca, Yum China, and other Chinese and foreign enterprises, participated in the special event.
"Linking Hangzhou", pooling efforts to enhance the city's "attractiveness". In his speech, Xu Weihua pointed out that Hangzhou focuses on five industrial ecological circles of new materials, biomedicine, high-end equipment, intelligent IoT, and green energy, complementing and strengthening chains, gathering chains into circles, and promoting the deep integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, capital chains, and talent chains. It aims to build a more open and vibrant innovation and industrial ecosystem.
During this Hangzhou special event, seven projects were signed on-site, with a cooperation amount exceeding 3 billion yuan, including the Qiantang District Bureau of Commerce and Beijing Tiangong Space Application Technology Co., Ltd. signing a manned space application concept verification center project agreement, with a total investment of about 300 million yuan; Hangyang Group Co., Ltd. and Siemens Energy Low-Carbon Industry Group signing a 5-year strategic cooperation agreement, with an average annual purchase amount of 500 million yuan; Zhejiang Times Electric Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan CRRC Smart Travel Technology Co., Ltd. signing a 100-train intelligent rail train, worth 100 million yuan distributed drive system supply agreement; China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Commercial Industry Committee and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hangzhou Committee reaching a strategic cooperation; Beijing Changting Technology Co., Ltd.'s headquarters settled in Yuhang Future Science and Technology City; Beijing LianDong Investment Group Co., Ltd. Hangzhou Company and Hangzhou Chaoju Technology Co., Ltd. signing a major asset purchase intention agreement; Linping Big Data Operation Co., Ltd. and Zhen Zhen Technology signing a computing power supply and data trust space cooperation agreement.
"Deepening the Chain" to be a "Guide" for Cross-Border E-Commerce
Since this year, the Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Commerce and Trade Promotion has taken the lead, cooperated with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Commercial Industry Committee, and drafted the "Cross-Border E-Commerce Independent Station Operation Service Guide" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guide") national standard, which has completed the drafting of the "Guide" national standard draft for comments. The "Guide" was released during the Hangzhou special event and is expected to complete the standard review manuscript in the first half of 2025 and submit it to the Standardization Administration Commission and the National Standard Review Center for review.
"The Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Commerce and Trade Promotion and the Hangzhou International Chamber of Commerce have tightly grasped the opportunity of cross-border e-commerce and Chinese manufacturing, creating a brand export digital all-channel, and on the basis of holding the 'Hangzhou Brand Export Cultivation Project' and 'Overseas Independent Station Training' for four consecutive years, this year as the first drafting unit, taking the lead in developing the 'Guide' national standard." Zhang Hongbin said that he hopes to provide standardized services for Chinese enterprises to further link the world market, find new handles for the "upgrade" of foreign trade supply chains, expand new tracks, and create new benchmarks.
"Hangzhou sincerely invites merchants from all over the world to understand Hangzhou, enter Hangzhou, and understand Hangzhou, to link Hangzhou together and create the future." Zhang Hongbin said that the Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Commerce and Trade Promotion will take the Supply Chain Expo and Hangzhou special event as an opportunity to help enterprises improve resource allocation capabilities, global linkage capabilities, and open collaboration capabilities, deeply participate in global industrial chain and supply chain cooperation, and better integrate into the global industrial chain and supply chain system.
