From November 7th to 9th, the 9th Global Oil and Gas Equipment Exhibition (WOGE2024) was grandly held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was co-hosted by the Xi'an Branch of China International Chamber of Commerce and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Petroleum Chamber of Commerce. The opening ceremony was attended by many distinguished guests, including the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to China, Omer Mohammed Ahmed Siddig, the Minister of Energy and Petroleum of the Republic of Sudan, Merheldin Naim Mohammed Sayed, the Minister of Energy of the Union of Myanmar, Ko Ko Lwin, the Minister of Energy Development of the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico, Jose Ramon Silva Arizabal, the Chairman of the National Development Committee of the Nigerian Senate, Asuquo, the Standing Committee of the Xi'an Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor of Xi'an, Xu Ketao, the Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, Zhang Wen Zheng, the Second-Level Inspector of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Feng Ruo, the Secretary of the Xi'an Municipal Trade Promotion Committee and President, Ran Hongbin, the Executive Director of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Petroleum Chamber of Commerce, Huang Fuchen, and others.

The exhibition attracted 141 outstanding companies from home and abroad, including well-known enterprises such as Yanchang Petroleum Equipment, Xiyou Petroleum Technology, Baoji Titanium Industry, as well as international delegations such as Iran DANA Energy, Saudi KJO Company, and Mexico PQ Group. More than 430 international buyers from 26 oil-producing countries participated in this grand event, including representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum of Sudan, the Arab League Office in China, Sudan National Pipeline Company, and other institutions, who conducted in-depth exchanges and cooperation discussions with exhibitors.

The enthusiasm of domestic buyers was equally high, with 11,612 professional buyers and visitors from 22 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities participating in the exhibition.

The three-day exhibition showcased the cutting-edge technology, products, and solutions of the oil and gas equipment manufacturing industry, covering more than a thousand products in 12 major categories such as oil equipment, refining equipment, security equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines, and instruments. Companies such as Xi'an Petroleum University Oil and Gas Technology Co., Ltd. released several industry-first technologies and products on site, which attracted great interest from domestic and foreign oil companies.

Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. displayed more than 20 products at the exhibition, promoting the features and advantages of its products to domestic and foreign merchants through on-site explanations and video demonstrations, which received widespread attention.

Anhui Hongshen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. highlighted a compressor that integrates pressure boosting and gas lifting, which has been well-received in the Changqing Oilfield. The company plans to promote its products and technology to overseas markets such as Russia, Malaysia, and Nigeria.

RANS Larma nano-tech, a company from the Iranian delegation, specializes in the research and production of anti-corrosion nano coatings, hoping to expand into the international market through this exhibition. General Manager Mahdi Rahmani said that the company has reached preliminary cooperation intentions with several companies at the exhibition and looks forward to participating in the 10th World Oil and Gas Equipment Exhibition in Xi'an next year, working together with more partners for progress and common development.

In addition to the exhibition, the 3rd World Oil and Gas Conference and the 9th World Petrochemical Equipment Procurement Conference were also highlights of this expo. The World Oil and Gas Conference gathered industry leaders in the field of oil and gas energy from important countries around the world, discussing the latest information and development trends in the global oil and gas industry. The 9th World Petrochemical Equipment Procurement Conference provided exhibitors with the opportunity to communicate one-on-one with international professional buyers.

The Nigerian delegation held the Africa Business Investment Forum during the exhibition, sharing the oil and gas resource situation and investment opportunities in Nigeria, attracting many exhibitors and buyers to participate in the interaction and discuss cooperation.

During the exhibition, the total amount of intended procurement orders from international purchasing groups was about 1.57 billion yuan, involving many fields such as oilfield chemicals, well repair machines, drilling equipment, compressor units, and generator sets. In 2025, the 10th World Oil and Gas Equipment Exhibition will continue to be held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an expected exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, 600 exhibiting companies, and the number of professional buyers and visitors will exceed 35,000.
