On October 30th, ahead of the Double 11 shopping festival, AliExpress witnessed a surge in merchants' stockpiling, with October's stock volume more than tripling compared to September. To enhance shipping efficiency, AliExpress partnered with Cainiao to upgrade three major warehouses in North America, Europe, and Japan and South Korea, simplifying logistics processes, reducing waiting times, and ensuring smooth cross-border logistics.

AliExpress tailored its operations to meet the needs of consumers in different countries and leveraged Cainiao's three major warehouses to improve shipping efficiency. These warehouses can cover 15 key market countries across Europe, America, and Asia, serving merchants and industrial clusters in the East and South China regions.

The warehouses feature an integrated design, concentrating storage, shipping, consolidation, and distribution functions within the same park, reducing the time needed for transfers between regions. From order placement to warehouse dispatch, the average processing time for each package is less than 24 hours, speeding up Double 11 logistics by more than 5 hours.

AliExpress also collaborated with Cainiao to create a highly predictable cross-border supply chain. By accurately forecasting the sales volume of best-selling products during the Double 11 period, they helped merchants stock appropriately. AliExpress has more than 20,000 popular SKUs in stock at Cainiao's global stock center, which is within a 2-hour drive from the European and American warehouses, allowing for rapid restocking.

Cainiao's global express network fully supports express services during the Double 11 period. Domestically, Cainiao has opened nearly 300 direct shipping routes to ensure door-to-door delivery, half-day delivery, and next-day delivery services. Meanwhile, Cainiao International Express has upgraded domestic and international flow warehouses, eHubs in Hong Kong and Belgium, and optimized local distribution networks in core regions and countries such as Hong Kong, Spain, and France to ensure a smooth logistics experience during this Double 11 festival.
